KB is wrong I guess..
In game chats yesterday people from all sorts of corps/alliances were saying the sov ticker kicks in instantly if you change alliance to that new alliance.

Besides was some goonies saying that's what happens in the EvE-Radio channel last night after one of the DJ's reported a BOB spokesman saying that they'd have sov again tomorrow.

Nice, when I quoted I didn't lay into the persons spelling because I tend to screw up the odd word here or there.
